SELF-DEFENSE SEMINARS

self defense for women and girls in traditional Japanese martial arts style
EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW HOW TO DEFEND HERSELF!
Everyone has heard the appalling statistics:  One out of three women will be assaulted at some time in her life; eight out of ten will be stalked.  More than half will be faced with unwanted attention from a family member or friend, and many of those encounters will turn physical.

Shin Wa Kan Dojo chief instructor Donna Murphy Sensei is honoured to again be chosen by the District School Board of Niagara to teach the Self Defense for Females course for their Continuing Education Department.  Students learn about evaluating situations, judging "level of threat", how to stay out of trouble, and a broad range of self defense techniques and strategies, including defense against armed and unarmed attackers.  They also learn such basics as footwork, breathing, and stances.  Plenty of notes and other material helps reinforce the training.

The course is suitable for any girl age 12+ and women, in fair health or better.

For more information, or if you are interested in self-defense seminars at the dojo or for your group or business, please click on this link to contact Shin Wa Kan Dojo.

To register, contact the District School Board of Niagara directly at (905) 687-7000.
