What is ...
Sei Tai?
Sei Tai, meaning "body change", is an ancient Japanese system of wellness maintenance and health promotion. In ancient times, it was practiced by imperial physicians as well as "bonesetters" and country healers. These traditional methods and strategies have been passed down through the ages, especially among samurai families.
Today, Sei Tai practitioners of many different schools employ these same ancient methods, as well as modern techniques and materials, to continue to help those in need.
Sei Tai embraces many kinds of healing arts, including massage therapy, use of essential oils, atsuikuroishi (massage with warm stones), acupressure, manipulation of limbs and joints, and advice on the use of herbal remedies, specific exercises, and life strategies. These techniques are combined with counselling and advice on personal issues, stress management and life guidance.
By the careful balancing of all aspects of a person's self, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual, harmony is enhanced. Many satisfied clients have benefitted from the Sei Tai difference. For more information, click on the link for Fresh Start Services.
